Alright if there are going to make a bioptic on Iggy Pop at least pick the right person for the part. Rumors circulated that they were going to cast Elijah Wood and already that has me in a twist. No offence Elijah but i picture a goddamn hobbit everytime i look at you. If you were to be cast to play him, make sure you know what kind of shoes you got to fill.

Personally, if i were doing the casting i would ask Ewan McGregor. Now that hussie can really act. Not to mention he is one of my favourite actors but i must not spill my entire guts all over this post here.

Here is a clip from the movie “Velvet Goldmine”; one of my personal favourites obviously. The snippet is when Brian first sets eyes on Kurt Wild. Kurt Wild is to portray Iggy, though they throw in a Lou Reed refrence for god knows why. The performance is some what tamed, though I’m sure he woulnd’t have a problem at all getting it up to par.(:

Doesn’t help that Ewan has a nice ass too.
